The index makes this a decent reference book. Because Vigils are abbreviated and have only three psalms, the "supplemental week" provides the reader an ability to recite more psalms. This volume can also function in a wider sense as a prayer book providing hymns and biblical and non-biblical readings for further reflection and prayer. Reminds me of Laken Cane and her Shiv crew books; you just can get enough and completely unpredictable and just like Laken and her damn cliffhangers you get the same with this author cursing her a bloody streak then jumping into the next book to see what’s gonna happen next.
